# Canvas Copilot Drawer

> Context-aware AI assistant inspecting active graphs, debugging errors, and suggesting next nodes.

The **Canvas Copilot** is an interactive, context-aware AI assistant integrated directly into the workflow designer workspace.

## 1. Contextual Canvas Inspection

Unlike generic chat tools, the Copilot has complete read access to your active canvas graph:

* **Active Nodes & Wires**: Understands which nodes are selected, their configured endpoints, and connection paths.
* **Predecessor Schemas**: Analyzes upstream request/response payloads to suggest exact binding paths.
* **Execution Trace Analysis**: When a node fails during execution, Copilot automatically inspects the HTTP error code, response headers, and stack trace to suggest a fix.

## 2. Key Capabilities

* **Suggest Next Node**: Ask *"What endpoint should I call next to confirm this order?"* Copilot scans your OpenAPI collections and suggests the exact matching endpoint with pre-filled parameter bindings.
* **Generate Transformation Scripts**: Prompt Copilot with *"Write a script to filter only approved transactions and sum their totals."* It generates tested JavaScript ready to insert into a Script Node.
* **Auto-Fix Assertion Failures**: If an assertion fails due to unexpected null fields or changed status codes, Copilot identifies the discrepancy and offers an inline fix.
